The new ŠKODA Octavia RS celebrates its world debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on the 10th of July. The Czech manufacturer continues the most comprehensive model campaign in the company’s history with this latest model. The third generation Octavia RS/Octavia Combi RS really creates a big impression with its powerful and efficient engines, racy design and innovative technology.

It will be available with a 162kW (220bhp) 2.0 TSI petrol engine or a 135kW(184bhp) 2.0 diesel engine so slightly up on power compared to the outgoing model.

It’s based on the same platform as the Mk7 VW Golf, so gets more advanced suspension than the Mk2 Octavia, along with all of the new technology, safety features and toys These include lane departure warning, auto parking, fatigue detection and lots of innovative interior touches.
