epay Continues Partnership with Silver Fern Rally

The organisers of the 2014 Silver Fern Rally are pleased to announce that epay New Zealand Limited, a division of Euronet Worldwide, Inc., will again be the naming rights sponsors for their International Marathon 7-day rally event in November.

The event will be known as the epay Silver Fern Rally 2014, and Rally chairman, Hamilton’s Gary Smith, welcomed the announcement saying, “epay’s continued and increased involvement for 2014 will help the event organising team present another successful event, and showcase New Zealand, and historic rallying to the world.”

Gary Smith went on to say that, “As epay New Zealand is part of a worldwide company, and given that our competitors come from all over the globe (Europe, UK and Australia), it seemed fitting we continue to grow our partnership developed in 2010, and we are excited about their further involvement with our event.”

epay New Zealand’s Country Manager Roger Smith commented on the announcement, saying, “This is a significant commitment from epay and we are really excited about being involved again with this innovative event. Through sponsorship we’re looking to increase our presence around some of our South Island retailers and customers, and drive awareness of both brands.”

Smith added, “We recognise the need to support and assist in the development of sports and events like this within New Zealand, and we look forward to working with organisers to continue to take their already successful event to the next level.” “We will again have spot silver the kiwi competitions and giveaway giftcards and spot prizes along the rally. So follow us on facebook and come down at the rally stops and get involved.”

In a welcome addition for the 2014 event, epay will bring an additional family of support partners from their own network in the form of an Oil channel partner, a Telco, a Airline partner and promotion distribution specialists “Malcove”.

The epay Silver Fern Rally 2014 will start from Picton Town Centre on the afternoon of Saturday November 8th with the drivers and cars then taking on over 1100km’s of competitive high speed rally stages through some of the best of New Zealand’s scenic countryside before finishing on the Lakefront in Queenstown on November 15th.

It started at a young age with bedroom posters, the Countach of course. This slowly grew into a super car die-cast model collection, fifty five 1:18 models at the last count. At which point it had almost taken full control, the incurable Mad Car Disease ran deep though my veins all the way to the bone. And things for my loved ones just got worse as the cars where now being bought at 1:1 scale, after a BMW, HSV, and couple of Audi's, the disease reached my brain, pushing me over the edge and down the rabbits hole into the world of the bedroom poster.
