Saab Are Back in Business

saab_01

After recently be purchased by a Japanese and Chinese consortium called National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS), The first pre-production Saab 9-3 has rolled off the assembly line in Trollhättan, symbolising the return of Saab as an automotive manufacturer.

Though it looks very similar to the 93 we saw Saab producing before they closed their doors, this 93 will act as a platform for technology developed by NEVS. They didn’t have much to say about the pre-production prototype, they now enter a round of testing to ensure the new components are up to the company’s standards
