I bet you are one of the few who just missed out on buying one of the 3 hard top versions and have been kicking yourself ever since. Well you might have been better of waiting as Lamborghini have just released the official images of Veneno Roadster. And the best news is that they will be making nine of them and they are only $300,000 Euro more then the hard top ones, I know right, that makes them only $5.3 million NZ dollars (before tax), bargain right……..

So what do you get for this amazing deal, well for starters you don’t get a roof.  And by no roof we mean nothing, not even something for when it rains, as this is what we like to call a car for the extreme hardcore roadster driver, who probably all live somewhere you can pay for what ever weather you want when you do decided to drive it.

Down to details, The 6.5 Litre V12 pumps out a epic 552 kW (750 hp) which can propel the 1,490 kg Veneno Roadster from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Being designed to be akin to a full on race prototype you have a vast selection of drive modes paired to an extremely fast-shifting ISR transmission, permanent all-wheel drive and a racing chassis with pushrod suspension and horizontal spring/damper units. The design of the adjustable rear wing is the product of motorsport experience to ensure optimum airflow in the interaction of the rear wing with the rear diffuser.

The “inside”, or outside as it has no roof, is much like the exterior, like some futuristic space fighter, out fitted with a similar array of controls used on the current “common” Lamborghini Aventador. The interior is kept to a minimum to help reduce overall weight, giving the Lamborghini Veneno a power to weight ratio of 1.99kg/hp and a maximum top speed of 355 km/h (221 mph)
