In February Porsche had issued a warning to all 785 affected vehicles, with instruction to immediately stop driving there cars due to fire risk. An unknown amount of the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 sports coupes manufactured between Oct. 19, 2013, and Jan. 16, 2014 are being recalled due loose piston rod connections. In effected vehicles the engine oil can leak onto hot components in the engine bay, with a high possible risk of catching fire. To fix these issue and concerns Porsche will contact each of the owners and will replace the engine with a brand new one for free.
