M4 To Get Hard Top Convertible Model

The BMW line up is giving customers so many configurations to choose from. And to make your decision even harder its now adding a convertible version of the newM4 to the mix. The hard version shares the same performance figures as the new M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe, generating a maximum output of 317 kW/431 hp and 550 Nm from its 3.0-litre straight 6 with M Twin power Turbo technology. 0-100 km/h is achieved in 4.4 seconds with the optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission.

This M4 has a similar arry of tech available on the M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe, additionally to provide a rigid body and extremely durable carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) has been integrated in many areas of the new M4 Convertible. The three-section folding metal roof opens at the touch of a button in under 20 seconds – while travelling at up to 18 km/h (11 mph). The Price tag for this topless monster is expected to be around the same as the new M4 coupe. More details as we get them.
