Lets say you live in the Wairarapa and you have a passion for classic cars, in particular the muscle car era of the late 60’s. Generally you have two main options before you, find an old worn down car and slave away every night in a shed bringing it back to it’s former glory, and if you are not the hands on type ,you buy one that someone else has rebuilt. But what if this does not even quench your thirst, what if you need more, what if what you need is the biggest classic car festival of its kind in the lower north Island, what do you do?
For Damien Pivac it was simple, you put your money where your mouth is, stop waiting around for someone else to do it, and make it happen yourself. And Thanks to Damien the man behind this genius idea, this year between the 4th and the 7th of December, masses of classic cars will be heading to the inaugural Cruise Martinborough Classic Car Festival.

Cruise Martinborough is an event that will bring a sea of like minded people together, with daily cruise destinations include Gladstone Inn, Mastertons Queen Street and local Martinborough vineyards. You will not only enjoy live entertainment, bands, burlesque dancers, drive in movies, and all the awesome cars, but you get to support a very worthy charity the Ronald McDonald House Wellington.
