The weekend began on a cold windy Saturday morning at the ASB showgrounds in Auckland. But all I could see was a sea of grins from ear to ear as petrol heads from all walks of life filed into the show grounds. All eager to feast their eyes upon the enormous line up of cars new and old, motor bikes and trophy trucks, speed boats to jet engine dragsters.
Opening the exhibit was the unveiling of the Ferrari 458 Speciale with its mighty expensive speed stripe. Other notable exhibits were the Vintage Indian motorcycle that showcased fine leather tassels. The custom Mustang “Eleanor” that sported a very, very electric blue paint job. Overall the show was once again popular among the fans with increased numbers over the 2014 show, so look forward for the next show set for 18-19 July 2015!
