Some days are just perfect for a drive and this day was no exception. I had arranged to meet Drew and Jodie in the morning, at their workshop down in Tauranga, so it was an early start for a Saturday. Fortunately it was one of those days where there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and the crisp morning air make the cars engine purr happily as I headed out of Auckland and though the rolling hills of the Waikato.
I arrived, welcomed by their dog and found the couple along with friends and crew getting ready, coffee in hand, for a day of working on the cars in preparation for the new season.
After brief introductions and a quick look at the cars, we sat down for a chat.
