I really don’t know what to make of this. On the one hand it’s a travesty, taking 50 perfectly good cars and leaving them to rot. On the other it is strangely fascinating to look at.

In 2000, Michael Fröhlic, a German car designer and millionaire decided to celebrate his 50th birthday in an unusual way.

He bought 50 cars, all manufactured in 1950, took them home, parked them in the woods on his property and left them there as an “art exhibition”

The collection includes Rolls-Royce, Jaguar, Porsche, Opel, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Buick, Citroen, Fiat, Mosqvitch, BMW, DKW, Goggomobil, Austin, Morris, Lloyd, Renault and Tatra.
