I had no idea what to for my last post of the year, or rather my first post of 2015. So here’s something different; not so much car news, but more a happy new greeting, a massive thank you, and a shameless plug all wrapped in one. First and foremost wishing everyone a happy new year!!! 2014 has been quite a year and being part of the incredible team at ACNZ has been a great privilege and an incomparable experience.
Additionally, I’ve been in Japan recently and have seen a few interesting cars. I’ll be sharing them on Auto Clique NZ’s Instagram account (@autocliquenz for you Instagrammers out there) so you can keep up with some of the amazing cars found on the streets of Japan. The photos you see here are just a small sample of what I saw.
Car spotting in Tokyo is incredible. I only had a few hours in Ginza but that was enough to spot more supercars, luxury cars, and oddballs than I’ve seen in my whole life. Luckily Ginza has one long main road stretching for what seemed like miles so it was easy to chase down cars. What amazed me the most was how pretty much everyone didn’t give a rumbling DeTomaso or a 458 Italia dropping a gear any notice whatsoever. I don’t know if it’s because they were used to these sorts of cars here for if they weren’t interested all, but it takes some serious concentration to ignore a very loud supercar.
