Mercedes-Benz have revised and updated the four-door CLS Coupé and the CLS Shooting Brake, following in line with the redesigned updates that have been seen in the latest C class and S class models. There will be several variants available, each either new and exciting engine package. CLS 400 has a 3.0 L V6 biturbo engine, producing 245 kw, 20 kw more then the previous NA engine, and an additional 110 Nm of torque to 480Nm from 1200 to 4000 rpm. The CLS 500 power peaks at 300 kw with an epic 600 Nm of torque. And they didn’t stop there, the CLS 63 AMG S has an eye watering 430 kw and with no indication of torque, we can only assume its in the 700 Nm range like the latest C63 AMG. The CLS AMG S is paired with their latest AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission thats responds even faster then the 9G-TRONIC in the other models.
The CLS range comes equipped with the very latest in Mercedes illumination technology, with their MULTIBEAM LED headlamps. High-performance, precision LED modules automatically provide the best possible illumination. The interior has also seen many enhancements, there are many new details waiting to be discovered that Mercedes-Benz say combine modern luxury and a hand-crafted feel with a passion for sport.
