The Leadfoot Festival is on early next month at the famous Leadfoot Ranch near Hahei, Coromandel.

This is the NZ equivalent of Goodwood Festival of Speed. Rod Millen built a 1.6km (1 mile) hill climb track on his farm and every two years he invites a select group of drivers to bring a race car and compete in a timed sprint event.

This is on my motoring event bucket list and I’m counting down the sleeps until I go and represent Auto Clique at the 2015 event.
