In this video Chris Harris checks out the development of the Bloodhound SSC world speed land record car. The car is designed to go a thousand miles per hour (1600kph).
This thing is incredible. It has a Jaguar V8 engine from an F Type just to serve as the fuel pump! This is a serious engineering project.
In the last section of the video Andy Green, the driver of this mad machine, takes Chris up in a stunt plane to demonstrate the g-forces that will be generated by the car when it does its land speed record attempts.
