I always presumed the Safety Car meant safety. Now, not so much.
One of the end clips shows a time when someone stole the Safety Car and took off around the track! Actually quite tempting when you think about it.
One thing is for certain: the people driving the Safety Cars that smash into race cars are not going to be welcomed back with open arms…
