One of New Zealand’s most recognised business people and philanthropist to art, sports and cultural endeavours has taken delivery of a new BMW i8. The new owner, Sir Michael Hill, said he “simply had to have one” after first seeing the captivating new model when on a visit to BMW Head Office in Auckland last year.
“The aesthetics of the vehicle are spellbinding, it quite literally is a work of art and the design of the i8 is the finest shape I have ever seen. In my opinion, it rivals the beauty of any Italian masterpiece. I regard it as possibly one of the greatest achievements BMW has ever done. The appearance of the car is space age, it has amazing fuel efficiency and I can’t wait to be driving it!”
