Bugatti Japan opened their first official showroom in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo on November 13, 2015. The showroom is also combined with a ‘Bugatti Lifestyle Boutique’ which is the second in the world, after London.

The showroom is tucked away in one of Tokyo’s most exclusive areas that’s also home to other high-end designer goods. However, with the large horseshoe design dominating the exterior design, this one stands out among the crowd.

Bugatti have a long established network of dealers across Europe and North America but this marks the company’s first in Asia. “Japan is an important market for Bugatti” said staff at the showroom.

There are three floors; a ground floor for the showroom, upstairs for more of the boutique, and an underground ‘consultation’ room for clients to have a unique experience in ordering their next Bugatti cars.

Staff at the showroom said the opening coincided with the preparation of the order books for the Veyron successor due next year. The Tokyo showroom will allow Japanese and neighbouring Asian-Pacific countries the chance to place their orders.

But if you can’t wait that long and need something with a Bugatti badge immediately then the boutique has a lot to offer to part you from your hard earned cash. Because these are still Bugatti products we’re talking about, they also come with Bugatti price tags.

How does $500 for some Bugatti cufflinks sounds? Or perhaps a $7000 Bugatti handbag for your significant other? You could always go all out and spend $400,000 on the Parmigiani Bugatti Super Sport watch. Yes, a watch with some Bugatti logos on it costs more than a brand new Bentley Continental GT. Oh what a wonderful world we live in.

I’m not sure any of these items will make you go over 430 km/h though. You’ll have to wait for their next car for that. But while I was inside the showroom I couldn’t help but think about those reports you often see about Ferrari makes more money from its merchandise than it does from its road cars. If that’s the case then Bugatti must be making an absolute killing.

But I guess if you’re the sort of person who’s got many millions to spend on a car then a $400k watch isn’t really going to bankrupt you.

It’s not usually the sort of place I’d recommend to visit but go there for the novelty factor of that horseshoe shape window and also for the factory-supplied Bugatti T35 that’s on display.
