BMW New Zealand has announced the arrival of a new 4 Series Gran Coupe model, one which features the same aesthetically captivating appearance of its stable mates but boasts specification enhancements which stand it apart from competitors. In addition to stunning good looks, the new BMW 420i offers Sport Line package, 19-inch alloy wheels, Bi-Xenon headlights with high beam assist, sports front seats and automatic tailgate operation – all as standard.

Furthermore, the new model includes in-built navigation and the BMW ConnectedDrive suite of technologies, Parking Assistant for both parallel and perpendicular parking, Lane Change Warning system, reversing camera and the Driving Assistant system which includes Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning with light city braking and pedestrian recognition.

“The BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe first arrived in New Zealand in August 2014 and launched to rave reviews,” said the Managing Director of BMW Group New Zealand,

Florian Renndorfer.

“This was due primarily to its striking appearance combined with increased functionality courtesy of the four-door coupe body-style, coupled with a huge load carrying ability achieved by way of the hatch boot compartment.”

The new BMW 420i Gran Coupe is available at all nine authorised BMW dealers around the country for a recommended retail price of $77,000. As with all new models available in the BMW line up, the 4 Series Gran Coupe comes with a five year warranty and road side assistance as standard, as well as three year scheduled servicing.

It is powered by a 135kW/ 270Nm four-cylinder engine which sips fuel at 5.8l/100km and emits only 134g of CO2 per kilometre.

“The 4 Series Gran Coupe is without a doubt one of our most attractive cars, and the 420i Gran Coupe has the outstanding aesthetics, the high levels of specification, class-leading driving dynamics as well as exceptional pricing,” said Mr Renndorfer.

“This new model will create a more attainable, but incredibly desirable and aesthetically pleasing, addition to the local lineup which helps to make it the ultimate statement in luxurious mid-size performance motoring.”
