The new BMW M5 Pure promises to deliver performance, luxury and the unmistakeable power of the Bavarian marque’s V8 plant. Available from $179,900*, the BMW M5 Pure distils the iconic nameplate to its very essence, dispensing with peripheral features to focus on the essentials, celebrating the 412kW, 680Nm, high-revving V8 engine with BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology.
The 4.4 litre engine drives the sedan from 0-100km/h in just 4.3 seconds, while recording a fuel economy figure below 10 litres per 100 kilometres. The BMW M5 Pure includes 20-inch M Double spoke alloy wheels, electrically adjustable sports seats covered in luxurious leather ‘Merino’ upholstery, electronic tyre pressure monitoring, ConnectedDrive Services & Apps and Internet as standard kit.
All BMW M5s are equipped with a seven-speed M double-clutch transmission with Drivelogic, Active M Differential, Dynamic Damper Control, M Servotronic power steering, M Dynamic Mode, Dynamic Stability Control and High-Performance Compound Brakes as standard.
A full suite of driver assistance systems also feature, highlighted by the inclusion of Cruise Control with braking function, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Pedestrian Warning with light city braking activation, Lane Change Warning and Head-Up Display.
