I really liked the Skoda Superb when I reviewed it, and this new edition looks even better, making it even bigger competition to the Golf R wagon, except cheaper, and better equipped. It’s on my car wish list!

New ŠKODA Superb SportLine adds driver-focused attitude
One of New Zealand’s fastest growing automotive brands extends the multi- award-winning Superb range.
The Superb SportLine is priced from $66,990 + ORC (Sedan) and $69,990 + ORC (Wagon) and is available from 1 March nationwide.
Dynamic and driver focused specification unique to the Superb SportLine include gloss black exterior treatments, a new Rear Diffuser, XDS Differential Lock and Alcantara ‘Bucket Seats’.

This fearless version of the ŠKODA Superb and of the ŠKODA Superb Wagon includes a dynamic design, sporty interior, unique technical highlights and a comprehensive range of specifications.
In New Zealand, the ŠKODA Superb SportLine is exclusively powered by the high performance Turbo Petrol power unit (206kw) and sits at the top of the Superb Sedan and Wagon range. It is available in both Sedan and Wagon body-styles and represents strong value at $66,990 and $69,990 respectively (+ORC).

Features of the ŠKODA Superb SportLine include the 19-inch (burnished black) alloy wheels, black design features on the exterior of the car, the tinting of the rear side and the rear windows (SunSet) as well as the 15-mm- lower sports suspension.
Inside the car, the SportLine design has an array of driver focused features, including a leather three-spoke sports steering wheel and gear knob, sport seats with exclusive seat covers, aluminium-look pedals and carbon-style trim.
The technology of the Superb SportLine excites with its electronic differential lock and enhanced XDS+ function. Driving Mode Select comes as standard. This allows the driver to choose the driving performance at the touch of a button. Adaptive Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) is fitted as standard and adds further flexibility and driver engagement.
