I thought I’d do a quick review of this gadget as it’s a useful thing for those of us who have project or race cars. Basically it connects to your car battery and keeps track of its charge, and you can monitor it from your phone.

It’s a simple idea and is executed well. Installation is simple – just loosen the bolt on your battery connections, slip the spade connector in there and re-tighten.

Scanning the QR code takes you to the Android App store or Apple store to download the software. Once downloaded it’s easy to find the device and pair it via Bluetooth, then you’re ready to go.

Once connected you can name the car, in case you want to connect to multiple monitors, and you’re off. I’ve had one on my car for a few weeks now and it works well, is simple to use and very useful.

I bought mine from Supercheap Auto for $54.95.

I love everything about cars! Driving, looking at them, modifying. It's great to see what people do with cars, the different car cultures. If I was rich, my garage would be bigger than my house!
