One of the most eagerly anticipated new model launches of 2018, the all-new Holden Commodore, takes place in Wellington this Saturday with the reveal of the new range at Johnston Ebbett Holden.
The dealership, located at 166 Taranaki St, will play host to the event with a family-orientated spectacular starting at 9am on Saturday (March 17). The all-new Commodore will take pride of place in the showroom, with the full range of Liftback, Sportwagon and Tourer variants ready to drive, as well as powertrain options including 2-litre petrol and the powerful, 235kW V6 All-Wheel Drive.
“I’ve had the opportunity to drive the all-new Commodore and I can’t speak highly enough of the all-round drivability as well as technology loaded in the new model,” said the Dealer Principal, David Johnston.
“I thought I’d take some convincing, but after a few minutes in the car, I was a convert. I’m hugely proud to have the new Commodore as part of the Holden new model portfolio.”
To emphasise the 40-year heritage of the motoring icon, a number of Commodores from different decades will be on display, while a free BBQ, as well as refreshments, will keep families fed and watered.
In addition to the all-new Commodore, the other newest All-Wheel Drive Holden model in the range will also be available for test drives.
“The new Equinox is winning fans thanks to its practical and functional nature, as well as outstanding dynamics thanks to its powerful engine coupled with a silky-smooth nine-speed automatic transmission,” said Mr Johnston.
“There will be a test-drive promotion running throughout the day, so I’d strongly encourage people to come along to the event to see the new models, as well as take them for a drive. “I know they’ll be thoroughly impressed.”
