MG Motor further fuels the growth of the small SUV category in New Zealand by today confirming the local introduction of the all-new MG ZST.

The vehicle is set to be revealed locally in August 2020, arriving in dealerships across the country in Q3. Initially available in two model variants, the ZST features the latest in technology, comfort and convenience, as well as a fresh design.

The new ZST also arrives equipped with the marque’s driving assistance suite, MG Pilot, as seen in its larger sibling the MG HS. The ZST comes with a 5-year unlimited kilometre warranty and 5-year roadside assist package.

Peter Ciao, CEO of MG Motor Australia and New Zealand, said: “It’s pleasing to see how our current line-up of SUVs have been accepted and reviewed by our customers as a stylish and spacious compact SUV that’s built for the everyday and equally excited to now offer one more choice. The ZST fit, finish and technology such as MG Pilot, 360-degree camera and virtual instrument cluster will offer a new level of comfort and premium value features to the segment and I am very much looking forward to its arrival.”

SUVs make for nearly 50% of new vehicle sales in New Zealand, with June sales results showing the design continues to prove popular. The ZST joins the leading small sized SUV category, as a value-centric package for MG’s growing customer base.

The new MG ZST provides a new option for customers, and joins the expanding MG vehicle range which includes the MG3 city hatchback, the compact MG ZS SUV, the premium new MG HS, as well as the all-electric MG ZS EV to arrive later in the year. Further details of the MG ZST will be revealed in August 2020.
