The all-new MG ZS HYBRID+ introduces a new line in the MG range. Now with a full-Hybrid powertrain, it joins MG’s HYBRID+ family alongside the recently released MG3 HYBRID+ and brings a range of upgrades that Kiwi motorists will love, says MG.
MG Motor Australia and New Zealand CEO Peter Ciao said the all-new MG ZS Hybrid+ promises more emotion and quality while benefiting from the highly efficient Hybrid engine.
“New Zealand motorists have fallen in love with the ZS in recent years. This is an exciting time for MG Motor New Zealand as we continue to update and grow our model range. After our MG3 Hybrid+ launch earlier this year, MG is pursuing its strategy of bringing value packed innovative hybrid technology across its entire range with the ZS.

The ZS Hybrid+ integrates a 75kW 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine with a 100kW/250Nm electric motor, paired with a 1.83kWh battery and a three-speed automatic transmission. The combined output produces 158kW of power and delivers a combined WLTP fuel consumption figure of 5.2L/100km.
From the ZS Hybrid+’s comprehensive array of advanced driver assistance systems, the new model also features the PILOT Safety Suite including Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Assist, Intelligent Cruise Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Detection, and Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, all designed to enhance your safety on every journey.
Available in two variants, the ZS Hybrid+ Excite is priced from $36,990+ORC and the ZS Hybrid+ Essence is priced from $39,990+ORC.
MG Motor New Zealand Chief Operating Officer, Harrie Yan, said further appeal associated with the new model is its industry-leading warranty.
