With the improvements introduced across powertrain and towing to the recently launched GWM Cannon, GWM says it has ensured that the same focus has been carried through to the Cannon Alpha PHEV to deliver a ute truly capable of delivering to the needs of New Zealand ute buyers.
New Zealand Cannon Alpha PHEV launch pricing includes a limited time only $2,000 discount and a free wall charger offer for all cars sold by June 30th 2025 and is as follows:

At the same time as being able to confirm launch pricing, GWM says it is also pleased to confirm that the EV range of the Cannon Alpha PHEV has been increased to 115km, further confirming its PHEV status supported by 3.5 tonne towing, torque, wading depth and true offroad 4×4 capability.
First shipments of the new Cannon Alpha PHEV are expected into New Zealand in the coming weeks with test drives being offered by the GWM New Zealand dealer network from late May/early June.
The new Cannon Alpha PHEV is backed by GWM Care, which includes a 7-year unlimited km warranty and 5 years of Roadside Assistance, reinforcing what GWM says is its commitment to reliability and long-term customer confidence.
