Auto Distributors New Zealand, the local distributor of Leapmotor, has announced the upcoming launch of the second new model in the brand’s portfolio. The B10 Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) will join the Leapmotor C10 BEV and REEV variants already on sale nationwide, further expanding the brand’s presence in New Zealand.
The new B10 SUV will be available in two different specification levels – Life and Design – and will deliver a new choice for Kiwis, combining advanced technology, premium design and safety, all at an accessible price point, claims the company.
Key to Leapmotor’s success is a strategic partnership with one of the world’s leading automakers, Stellantis, while at a local level, an alliance with Armstrong’s ensures a sales and after-sales network in main centres around the country.

“We’re confident the B10 will enjoy similar success when both models officially go on sale in October,” said Brian Carr, General Manager – Sales, Auto Distributors New Zealand.
“Leapmotor is quickly establishing itself as an internationally recognised marque, with innovation and advanced technology at its core, delivering cutting edge solutions and offering advanced features across the new model range.
“They are high quality vehicles designed for everyday lifestyles, crafted with versatility and practicality in mind and offering a balance of comfort, efficiency and functionality which represent exceptional value for money.”
Sporting a 100% electric powertrain and rear-wheel drive, the addition of the B10 brings a fresh option for adopters of new energy vehicles who desire a technology-rich, innovative EV laden with features and attributes at an attainable price, says Brian.
2025 Leapmotor B10: Technology
Taking pride of place in the interior of both the Life and Design models is a large 14.6-inch ‘floating’ central infotainment screen, complemented by a 8.8-inch driver cluster display along with driver-side wireless smartphone charging.
More than a dozen functions are available via the Leapmotor app, enabling the driver and passengers to stay connected with the vehicle at all times. These include remote air conditioning control, electric window open and close, scheduled battery charging, Bluetooth key support and remote central locking.

The technology equation is enhanced further with the availability of a Near-Field Communication (NFC) card for smart entry into and starting of the vehicle.
