With the new MG ZS Vibe Turbo available from $27,990 plus on road costs, MG claims the bang for buck has never been better for one of the brand’s most popular models, “setting a new benchmark for the compact SUV segment”.

Boosted performance for MG ZS Vibe Turbo petrol variant

MG Motor says it has raised the bar for affordable compact SUVs with the introduction of the MG ZS Vibe Turbo variant. The new variant sees the introduction of the 1.5L Turbo engine, unleashing significant performance gains with a 54% power increase compared with the existing MG ZS Excite variant.

The MG ZS Vibe Turbo now comes with a 1.5 litre turbocharged petrol engine (1.5T) with CVT as standard, delivering a 54% increase over the existing ZS Excite variant.

Capable of producing a maximum of 125 kW of power and 275 Nm of torque, the 1.5T powertrain offers what MG says is best in class dollar-per-kilowatt for this price range.

“Our philosophy with the MG ZS Vibe Turbo variant was simple: end the compromise,” said MG Motor New Zealand Country Business Manager, Dean Sheed.

“The new MG ZS Vibe Turbo raises the bar in terms of bang for your buck and fun factor in the compact SUV segment in New Zealand. Offering our potent 1.5L turbo in our most affordable Vibe Turbo variant gives the best power and performance for the price.”
