In a global first for the company, Tesla Australia & New Zealand today announce a new 5-Year/unlimited-kilometre warranty for all new vehicles in Australia & New Zealand – replacing the previous 4-Year/80,000km coverage. The 5-year warranty encompasses critical vehicle components including corrosion protection, paint durability and multimedia systems and also includes 5 years of Roadside Assistance.
Customers who take delivery of their Tesla vehicles from 1st January 2026 are eligible for the new warranty, providing retrospective value for recent buyers.

TYRE REPAIR & LOANER WHEEL SERVICE
Tesla owns and operates Mobile Tyre Repair vans for customers, covering:
Puncture repair: A Tesla technician will come directly to a customer’s location and perform a puncture repair on the spot, getting them back on the road swiftly.
Tyre replacement: if necessary, a mobile technician can facilitate a tyre replacement on the spot.
Tesla loaner wheel: If a repair isn’t possible roadside, a Tesla technician or Tesla roadside partner will fit a Tesla loaner wheel and take the damaged one to the nearest Tesla Service Centre for it to be assessed, allowing customers to continue their journey without interruption. The Tesla loaner wheel program is available 24/7 via our network of Tesla roadside partners. Customers can access the loaner wheel program by contacting Roadside Assistance via the Tesla App, with support available 24/7 and 365 days a year.
