In what Mazda says is a bold step towards their electric future, the all-new Mazda CX-6e has been confirmed to launch in New Zealand.
Newly unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show, the all-new Mazda CX-6e redefines electric driving with a bold blend of style, performance, and advanced technology, says the company.

The Mazda CX-6e elevates the Kodo – Soul of Motion design language into the future of electric mobility. Its ‘Soulful Futuristic Modern’ theme reflects what Mazda claims is the intersection of cutting-edge technology and sculptural elegance. Its extended 2,902 mm wheelbase and short overhangs disguise its load-carrying capabilities, with 468 litres of luggage space available when all seats are upright.
The CX-6e’s profile conceals a cabin inspired by the Japanese concept of Ma, the beauty of empty space, it offers generous head, leg and shoulder room for all occupants, says Mazda.
With a driving range of 484km its 78 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery powers a rear-mounted motor that develops 190 kW and 290 Nm of instantly accessible torque, delivering what should be responsive control and linear acceleration.
Mada says the all-new Mazda CX-6e features a cohesive suite of technology and convenience features. The smart cockpit centres on a sweeping 26-inch touchscreen with a customisable dual-split layout that provides passengers with access to a wide range of information, without distracting the driver from the road. This screen is complemented by a large head-up display that overlays navigation guidance onto the road ahead.
Blending Japanese craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and cutting-edge technology, the all-new Mazda CX-6e is expected in New Zealand towards the end of 2026. Further details on equipment, technical information and pricing will be shared as local launch timing approaches.
