Volkswagen New Zealand has launched  the all-new T-Roc, an SUV that the company says combines contemporary design, intelligent technology and everyday versatility in a vehicle designed for you.

The T -Roc introduces Volkswagen’s first mild hybrid powertrain to the New Zealand market. With combined fuel consumption of 5.6L/100km and CO₂ emissions of 126g/km, the T-Roc offers a thoughtful solution for drivers seeking cap ability without compromise, says the company. Volkswagen New Zealand says the inclusion of multi-link rear suspension, a feature also found in the larger Tiguan, further enhances ride comfort and control, bringing a more refined driving experience to the segment.

“The all-new T-Roc represents an exciting refresh to the Volkswagen SUV range, completing the lineup with a confident and considered point of entry,” says Chanelle McDonald, General Manager of Volkswagen New Zealand.

“We know our customers are looking for vehicles that fit effortlessly into their lives while reflecting what matters most to them. The T-Roc delivers that balance, combining comfort, efficiency and premium design.”

Customers can choose from a range of finishes including Canary Yellow, Flame Red Metallic, Celestial Blue Metallic and Wolf Grey Metallic, while optional contrasting black roof options allow for further personalisation.

The latest T-Roc evolves Volkswagen’s design language, with LED Plus headlights, an illuminated front grille detailing and an illuminated Volkswagen logo.

Inside, the R-Line Launch Edition features leather-appointed sports seats, a heated sports steering wheel, 30-colour ambient lighting and a panoramic digital experience centred around its 12.9-inch Discover Media infotainment system.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, satellite navigation and Volkswagen’s 10-inch Active Info Display Pro ensure connectivity is intuitive and always within reach, while Park Assist Plus adds confidence in everyday manoeuvres.

Advanced safety and driver assistance systems are standard across the range, providing confidence and reassurance behind the wheel. Features including Front Assist with pedestrian and cyclist monitoring, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross – Traffic Alert, Dynamic Road Sign Display and Driver Attention and Alert Monitor work together to support safer, more confident everyday driving.

Available in both Life and R-Line Launch Edition variants, the T-Roc offers a choice between refined everyday practicality and a more dynamic, sport -focused character allowing customers to select the version that best suits their lifestyle and preferences, claims Volkswagen.
