Zeekr has revealed full specifications and pricing for the new Zeekr X, ahead of its New Zealand launch in August 2026, with the company claiming it is positioning the compact luxury electric SUV as one of the strongest value offerings in the luxury EV segment.
Zeekr claims the model is designed to deliver premium performance, advanced technology and high-end design at a more accessible price point, the new Zeekr X brings meaningful upgrades across performance, charging speed and standard equipment.
Since 2021, Zeekr has delivered more than 800,000 vehicles worldwide across a diverse lineup of electric models, with the company saying it is continuing to strengthen its position as one of the world’s fastest growing- and most innovative EV brands, reinforced further by the arrival of the new X in New Zealand.

The Zeekr X retains its compact proportions (4432mm L / 1836mm W / 1566mm H / 2750mm wheelbase) but enables more customisation to enhance the exterior styling.

- Optional black forged 20” wheels (AWD only)

New X models feature Zeekr’s advanced driver assistance system, ZEEKR AD, incorporating:
- 5 high-definition cameras

- 12 ultrasonic sensors
- Remote Parking Assist for tight urban conditions
2026 Zeekr X: Performance & Charging
The new X introduces more-powerful electric motors across both variants:
- RWD: 250kW single motor (LFP battery) and 405km WLTP range
- AWD: 115kW front + 250kW rear motors for 365kW combined output NCM battery) and 415km WLTP range
This represents a 50kW uplift on both RWD and AWD MY25 X models.

- 0–100km/h in 3.7 seconds (AWD)
The new X RWD model features Zeekr’s ‘Golden Battery’, the LFP Cell-to-Pack (CTP) architecture also used in the Zeekr 7X. For the new X, this technology has been further optimised for faster charging, enhanced safety and improved thermal stability. Benefits include:
- Up to 230kW DC fast charging capability; 10–80% in ~18 minutes (RWD)
- Up to 150 kW DC fast-charging; 10–80%: ~30 minutes (AWD)
- Strong thermal resistance and reduced propagation risk due to CTP structural design
These upgrades reduce RWD charging time by roughly 12 minutes compared with the outgoing MY25 X. AC charging has also improved, now supporting 11kW (RWD) and 22kW (AWD).
