Along with the racing drivers Michael Krumm, Sébastien Buemi, Armin Hahne and Testuya Tanaka, he was a part of development team for the NISSAN GT-R NISMO, which marked 7:08.679 — fastest lap ever for a volume production car in September 30, 2013.
