Mercedes-AMG have officially announced the new engine that will be powering the 2015 Mercedes AMG GT, a twin-turbocharged four-valve-per-cylinder 4.0-liter V8 petrol engine that creates 503 hp at 6,250 rpm and 479 lb-ft of torque between 1,750 and 4,750 rpm.
